DO PEOPLE STILL READ BLOGS?

Do people read blogs anymore?   I was a blogger for many years, and it was a way to draw people to your website, break news,  to try and make money, to share good writing and to try build relationships with your brand.  Blogging was fun for me and really helped grow my ability to write.   On my last year at University, my friend said his dog Ora writes better than me.   As a near graduating and unpublished scientist, I never had to write too much and when my friend said that it really impacted my confidence.   About a decade later, I started blogging and while my writing wasn’t that much better it did progress with practice.

I didn’t think it was worth it to put a blog on this website particularly because the current generation of kids aren’t know to read blogs so much.   That said, I thought I would change it up a bit and rather than write it for an audience of readers, the blog is written as a message from me to my kids with a public audience.

My hope is that this blog will help my kids understand the “why” behind things a little quicker or a little easier.   They will get a chance to read the post and to reread the blog post years down the road to understand the message that I was trying to deliver.   I believe that this infrequent blog will resonate with other parents as they try to inspire and pass on their knowledge to their kids.   I am confident that like minded adults will enjoy these blog articles and the new purpose of Finale Design.

Hope you come back once and a while to check out the site for new designs and new articles.
